The story begins with accounts from buyers sent to the Seine-et-Marne-based association Ani’Meaux, which fights against animal abuse.

A farm not declared to the prefecture

“This dog breeding is illegal,” he continues. The owner was well registered in the commercial register, with the SIRET number, “but it was not declared to the prefecture and to the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of the Rhône Populations (DDPP) which ensures the good sanitary conditions of the farms in the department”.

Ani’meaux files a complaint on June 19, 2021 against this creator. The Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) seized all the dogs on the farm a month later, in July.

A trial at the Clermont-Ferrand courthouse

In front of the investigators, the interviewee does not recognize the facts. He says he has money problems to finance the facility.
